Bruhn Building Stone is recognised as a National building product, Bruhn Building Stone now supplies Limestone to all building areas in Australia.

Bruhn Building Stone is competitive in price to the more expensive clay bricks & rendered Granosite finishes, with the added advantages of very litle expansion or contraction and excellent thermal and accoustic properties.

Building with Limestone is generally the same as with brick veneer - that is, a cavity construction with the inside walls being of timber, or of steel frame with plasterboard. Also the building principles are the same with (for example) the Stone Mason keeping his work level & 'in plum', and generally run to a string line for construction.

There are three types of finishes in Limestone …
Rock Face, Smooth Face and Smooth Face Bevel Edge, where Rock Face is used for a Colonial or Federation style of house, whilst Smooth Face and Smooth Face Bevel Edge tend to suit the more modern or Mediterranean style homes.
